Our Discipleship Pathway

Rescued

God created you for an eternal relationship with Him and His family. When you decide to give your life to Jesus, you become a rescued person. Scripture describes this as one’s citizenship changing from a realm of darkness and aloneness, to a realm of God’s light and presence. Jesus becomes Lord and Savior of our lives as we permit Him, every day, to lead and guide us. On Sundays, we celebrate what Jesus’ death and resurrection has accomplished. We celebrate, as a rescued people, our new life here and in the life to come.

Transformed

As we walk with Jesus every day, He transforms us to become more like Him. God initiates a process of cleansing and renewing our hearts, minds, and souls. As we listen to His Spirit and His Word, our old ways and nature become aligned with Jesus’ ways and nature. Through small groups and community, we expand our ability to hear and grow. We find others who help us, and run with us, to love God with all we have.

Empowered

We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to witness, bear fruit, and fulfill the purposes of God in our lives. Through His indwelling presence and areas of gifting, we help bring His will from heaven to earth. As a church, we seek His direction and empowerment through personal time with the Lord as well as corporate prayer, worship, and prayer.

Radiant

Our goal in being rescued, transformed, and empowered is to ultimately become radiant disciples of Christ who shine like stars in the darkness and bring others into this light. As we make disciples in small groups and employ our spiritual gifts in service on the dream team, we partner with Jesus in reaching our world. Our hearts also unite around His great commission to glorify Him in our families, city, nation, and world.

Radiant Church began as a prayer meeting in the home of our lead pastors, David and Renata Perkins. The heart of Radiant is to lead people to become RADIANT DISCIPLES OF JESUS. Since we began, Radiant has been marked by prayer, joy, family, discipleship, and mission.
